of this semester are here. Today we have two exams. I just finished my first one, and at one o’ clock I will have my last one. Today will also be my last day writing in this journal, well, until I get my computer running at home. So please, do come back often to check on updates. I’m not sure when my computer will get the internet but it should be soon. I glad that I will be starting a new semester next week. Very excited. I’m ready for the new faces of students and teachers and I’m really ready for a fresh new start. New grades and Graduation. I have so much stuff to do until then. Our military Ball is Feb. 3rd, and I’m getting my dress this Saturday. Prom is April 5th, so I’m going to need another dress for that. We have Cap&Gown pictures on Feb. 8th. Graduation June 8th, and my b-day June 9th. 18!! This summer is going to be the best. I plan on going to the beach often, King’s Dominion in Virginia, Wet n’ Wild in Greensboro, N.C. I want to have a lot of fun before I go to college in the Fall. Also, YES, I will be getting married this summer as well. I have picked out a wedding dress. I’m very excited. We have a man that is going to wed us, and if I don’t do it at a church I want to do it at my mom’s house or something. Anyway, it’s going to be fun. I wrote my dad a letter and told him I want him to be there to walk me down the aisle. I hope that prison will bring him down here so he can be here on that day. Even if he can only stay for that moment. It will truly be a blessing for me. It will make the first day in 17 years that I have seen him. Or talk to him in person. I’ve heard from him in letters and I wrote him too. But that nothing like seeing him in the real flesh. Soo…I’m really happy for this going to happen. Today, I plan on getting a puppy. I’m not sure yet. But I have it set in my heart that I am. Well, to get back to this site as soon as possible. Until then, love and peace.

was exams, and I totally flunked that thing. My speech about the sun was so awesome, but because only did it in 9 minutes and I was supposed to do it in 10. So my teacher took ten points off for every minute you didn’t speak. Sucks but ohh weel. I say F*** ROTC, I ain’t making it up. Soo thats all I have to update on today. Speak laters.

who needs them? Bad news, we all do. Yeah, so our school exams are starting next week. This year they have started something new. In the past, they have given us review sessions for each class like a week before. Now, it has totally changed. We have NO reviews. The first exam is next Thursday, then Friday is another. The 15th we have no school because of Martin Luther King Jr.’s B-day.  That Tuesday, we have two exams. Yes, I said TWO S-S-S!! That is going to be so stressful. I know I have to buckle down. In ROTC I have to do a ten minute presentation about the Sun. What can you say about the Sun besides it is 27,000,000 degees F, and..it is yellow? Lol. Well, maybe I will pass and maybe not. Wrapping up, I hope everyone has a good week.

and nothing to talk about. Well, actually I do. Have you watched the news lately, America?¿ It seems as though the world is coming to an end. But in reality, its not. Over the past holiday, there were two main deaths that really struck America. The death of Saddam Hussain, which came to an even bigger question to what is going to happen to the Iraqis, and the death of our 38th President, President Ford.

Both of these came to total shock. We gave Ford his peace. Now, all we can do is keep his beautiful sprit in our hearts. As I hear people talk about his memorials and as I hear the news, only one thing got my attention. My LCDR Pullen, in ROTC, told us a story yesterday that really…really meant a lot to me. He said that out of all the things that he heard during Ford’s memorial yesterday, at the Citadel in Washington D.C., there was one thing said about Ford that really got to my teacher. Someone stated that years before, a small town had a little get together in their town. The few people had asked that Ford attend this. President Ford said he would out of respect for his people. The day of the get together, there was very bad thunderstorms that would affect his route to get the town, and also at that time, we were at war. Ford had every excuse NOT to go. That night when he showed up, the people asked him why did he come, and to risk everything like he did. His reply ‘I told you I would’. In saying this, President Ford NEVER said he would do something and didn’t. It reminds me that nowadays if you say ‘Oh, I’ll call you back’, or ‘I’ll see you later’, but you don’t, usually the person forgives you. But in Ford’s case, he never said he would do something and not do it. I wish the world was more like this man. I didn’t understand why his death was so important, now I know. He was brillant. And might I add, he was the only man to never get elected to Vice President or President. He was appointed to them. Wow!

Now back to Saddam. That man discusted me. He killed his own people for crying out loud. Who does that these days? Did you know, Iraq didn’t give him a chance to live. As you may know, we had captured him (in ‘We’, I mean America) but Iraq couldn’t kill him or decide what to do with him until we released Saddam to them. The day he was killed, America had released him one hour before he was hung. As you can see, Iraqis don’t wait on anything. But America…we take months to sentence someone. We have court trails, blah blah blah. I wosh were more like them when it came to stuff like that. Getting back on the subject…Saddam got it coming to him. He got what he deserved. I’m proud.

LOL…Changing the subject now, it is Wednesday already. I can’t believe it. I am hoping for a great weekend. I have no plans so far. There’s still time to make some though.

I want to go home and sleep. A week long break was not good enough for me. Today is our first day back and it was hard trying to get out of bed at 5:30 this morning. My Christmas was awesome. I actually loved seeing my family and spending time with them. This was the first Christmas I can remember that my whole family got together and actually stayed together for awhile. Usually people come to say hi, eat, and then leave. It was also the happiest I have every seen my grandma. I got a lot of presents. Earrings, clothes, shoes, etc.

      This weekend my boyfriend and I went looking for a prom and military ball dress. What we found was a wedding dress! How funny. We plan to start paying the payments for it. It’s $710!

       I finally wrote my dad a letter. I have to get a stamp and send it off though. I haven’t wrote him in about two years. I’m sending some pictures as well. I hope it makes him happy which I know it will.

       How was everyone’s New Year?¿ What are your New Year Resolutions? Well, my own New Year’s was terrible. I had some family problems involving my mom and step-dad. Hopefully, my mom can make the right decision now. I plan to start going to church, I’m looking for the right one , so if you know any local one’s please let me know. I want to pick up my grades in my classes before the semester ends. I have some make-up work due and it’s killing my grades in some classes. I plan on graduating in June, getting married in June, and my birthday is in June!! Wow!! This year, I’m hoping, will turn out to be the best I’ve ever had. It started off bad, but I feel it’s going to be better now.

        Well, I’m letting this be the end of my post. I’m all out of words. So I hope everyone had a great holiday.

’til christmas, and I’m more excited than ever. It is now 10:06am here, and we get out of school at 12:30. I have had two parties, playing on the internet now, and in my last class, we’re going to finish up a movie. How wonderful. Like you should know by now, I’m celebrating my Christmas with my family Saturday. I did do some shopping yesturday. I got my boyfriend some new shoes, my baby got some toys, and other little gidget gadgets. I’m almost finished with my shopping. I have a few people to get presents for. My step-dad, my sister Kearstyn, I want to get my boyfriend a few more things, Rebeca, Carlos, pawpaw, and my friend Shaunisha ( since she got me something today). I really, really hope everyone has a great Christmas. It’s a time for joy, excitement, partying for Jesus, dinner, and family time. So remember those you love, and if you can’t see them, at least give them a call. Well, I want to try and keep it short today. Have fun, wear your seatbelts, and be safer than ever on those busy roads this weekend.

and tomorrow we get out at 12:30. I am so not ready for this break due to it’s going to be filled with to much excitement. LoL :] Eleven days of freedom, and three days of gifts. How much fun?¿ I plan on going shopping, maybe, tomorrow.  I still have a few presents to get, sadly. I don’t know what to get my boyfriend. I’m very clueless. I have gotten him two little things but I want to get him a few more. Saturday is our family Christmas Party. We are going to have so much fun. I want to eat and open presents.

and everyday I’m getting more and more excited. I can’t wait to see all the presents that everyone has gotten me. My boyfriend decided to get me two outfits yesterday. I hope I get a little something else instead of that. A surprise would be great.

Tonight ROTC is going Christmas Caroling and going to eat at Ryan’s. It’s going to be fun I guess.

We now have 1 full day and a half of day left of school. I’m still kind of shocked at the little vacation time we have out. But like I said to myself, at least we’re getting away from this school for a week.

Today is our LCDR’s (commander’s) B-day, and we’ve planned to throw him a surprise party. How exciting. I hope he enjoy’s it. It’s to be hard trying to get him out of the school so we can set up. When it was our MSgt’s (Master Sargent’s) B-day, we got the Ass. Principal to tell him he had to drop off something at another school. He took one of the buses and left with our Commander, and half way there, the principal called and told him nevermind. We he got back you know what happened. He said we got him better than the last times.

and I still have a few presents to get. I did do some shopping this weekend. I plan on going with my mom this afternoon as well. I want to get some clothes and maybe some shoes while I’m out. As you should know we are getting out Thursday at 12:30…YAY! I am so ready for this break from school and these people.

So my cousin just let me know this weekend that his girlfriend found out she’s pregnant. Woopdy do. It was something I wasn’t expecting, and I was kinda upset due to the fact that I don’t like her. But like mom and me decided and went over, what done is done. I hope everything works out for the both of them. We’ve decided to have play dates. How sweet. Let the boys go do whatever boys do and we can go do what moms do I guess. Maybe I will be able to learn to like her a little. I let him know that I want their child to know who I am even though my son really don’t see him now. Which upsets me because I feel that his girlfriend hold shim back from coming to see us. Oh well. Maybe one day they’ll get over it.

Christmas is Monday. My family, like I’ve probably said before, is scheduling their party/get together this Saturday. I have a feeling it’s going to be good.
